Rajiv Sharma MD is a Board Certified Gastroenterologist currently in private practice. He is member of numerous scientific societies as well as author of multiple scientific articles. He frequently gives guest lectures on various medical topics.

Being born in India and having attended a catholic school while growing up he believes in "whole person care" and the affect of mind, body and spirit on "wellness". He has special interest in Nutrition, Exercise and Healthy eating. He prides himself to be a "fact doctor" as he backs his opinions and works with solid scientific research while aiming to deliver a simple and clear message.

He got motivated to write at age 10 when he earned Indian Rupees 25 (50 cents) for winning an english caption contest for a local newspaper.
