In the following year, 1983, “Glengarry Glen Ross” won the Pulitzer Prize. The play covers the time period of two days. The story revolves around the parts of two days in the lives of four very desperate real estate salesmen from Chicago.


These real estate agents are so desperate that they are now ready to get involved in any number of illegal and unethical deeds. They are ready to speak lies; they are prepared to flatter and to bribe. They are ready to even give threats and use intimidation to get their work done. The do not hesitate even from committing burglary.


They get involved in the undesirable sale of real estate, Glengarry and Glen Ross, to prospective buyers who do not know about the shoddy deal.
