Kristin Weidenbach writes popular non-fiction focused on Australian history.

Her picture books for children include King of the Outback: the story of Sidney Kidman, Meet Banjo Paterson and Tom the Outback Mailman, which won the Children’s Book Council of Australia’s Eve Pownall award in 2013.

Her adult titles include Growing up Moonta, Rock Star: the Story of Reg Sprigg, and the Australian bestseller Mailman of the Birdsville Track: the Story of Tom Kruse.

Kristin is a PhD immunologist who switched to a writing career. She occasionally writes for Outback magazine and has written the official histories of the Cruising Yacht Club of SA and the energy company Santos.

James Gulliver Hancock

James Gulliver Hancock is a well travelled illustrator known for his playful illustration style. His obsession with drawing everything in the world has seen him work for major projects around the globe, seeing his work appear on everything from billboards, to TV commercials, to ceramics, to books, to board games.

He undertook artist residencies all over Europe and most recently has been living in New York where he has worked for a wide variety of high profile clients and taken to the city with his personal project.
