Aaron Pocock

Aaron Pocock was born in England in 1970 and has been living in Brisbane since November 2000. Art has been a lifelong passion, and became his day job in 2007. Aaron has illustrated children's books, covers, Packaging art, private commissions, murals, tattoo designs and (almost) anything else hes been required to do.

An extremely versatile artist, Aaron is comfortable using multiple mediums, working in different sizes, and rendering varied subject matter. In 2011, Aaron was chosen to illustrate the Australia Post commemorative stamp set Mythical Creatures for Australias Childrens Book Week.

The set was produced in a 3D capacity (a first for Australia), coins were created by the mint and spin off items were made. Aaron is also available for group teaching, visits and events.
