"Who Crosses Storm Mountain?: 1911" by Mary Noailles Murfree Murfree became known for her wilderness fantasy stories, often written under her pen-name Charles Egbert Craddock. For fifteen successive summers the family stayed in Beersheeba Springs in the Cumberland Mountains of East Tennessee, giving her the opportunity to study the mountains closely and inspire her stories.
