Yvette tells the story of Mrs. Obardi, who lives with her daughter Yvette and is surrounded by many people who come to her living room for entertainment. Some people go there, attracted by Yvette's beauty and joie de vivre. Among them is Jean de Servigny who is madly in love with her and who is impatiently waiting for the day when she will fall in his arms. As for Yvette, she is looking for the rich husband, the beautiful establishment, where is she the beautiful, fresh and innocent flower she seems? Servigny doesn't know what to think. From there, the drama and suffering that the two characters will experience is born.
