The unmissable first novel from bestselling and award-winning author of THE FAULT IN OUR STARS.

"If people were rain, I was drizzle and she was a hurricane." Miles Halter's whole life has been one big non-event, until he meets Alaska Young. Gorgeous, clever and undoubtedly screwed-up, Alaska draws Miles into her reckless world and irrevocably steals his heart. For Miles, nothing can ever be the same again.

'Looking for Alaska' brilliantly captures the exquisite painful joy of living and loving. Poignant, funny, heartbreaking and compelling, this novel will stay with you forever.

Proof that John Green didn't start creating characters you wished you knew with The Fault In Our Stars. In fact - that's the best book to compare it to.

Looking For Alaska has all of the funny, sad and poignant moments that made that one such a hit. A good quick read. Believe the hype!

I love this book!

John Green knows exactly to hit you right in your weakest places, and that is what make this book so amazing. His writing style makes everything feel so real and relatable. My most loved John Green Book to date.

Not my favorite John Green book. I read Paper Towns and the Fault in Our Stars and was completely blown away by his work. Not so much in this book. The plot was simple, and I tend to like more of an advanced plot. This was a boring contemporary. There was nothing going on. I could tell what was going to happen when it eventually did. The only thing I really liked about this book was John Green's writing style. He is hilarious, and in intimate times, writes so beautifully. I bookmarked many pages due to the inspiring and heart-felt quotes. If you are looking for a slightly depressing -but uplifting- contemporary, you must read this. Over all I liked the novel, but it is third on my list on normally extraordinary John Green books.
