Alastair Chisholm

Alastair Chisholm began his career as a software developer in Edinburgh. His interest in devising and tackling logical problems led him to create the hugely successful Kids Book of Sudoku and Kids Book of Karuko puzzle book series. The Prince and the Witch and the Thief and the Bears is his first picture book.

Ben Mantle

Ben Mantle worked in animation, including on Tim Burton’s Corpse Bride, before turning to children’s illustration.

He is the author and illustrator of the Dinostar series, The Best Birthday Present Ever! and The Best Christmas Present Ever!, and the illustrator of many other picture books.

Born in Leamington Spa, Ben now lives and works in Sussex.

Eric Deschamps

Eric Deschamps is an illustrator of middle-grade and early reader books in the science fiction and fantasy genre, as well as a card artist for the popular collectible card game Magic: the Gathering. His illustrations have been recognized in 'Illustrators 61' (Society of Illustrators) and 9 volumes of 'Spectrum: Best In Contemporary Fantastic Art.' Aside from art, Eric enjoys coaching a special needs basketball team each year and writing children's stories of his own.
