Hazel (Bella Thorne) fears life--she suffers from an excruciating and crippling form of agoraphobia. She's terrified of open spaces, the outdoors and other people. So to try and help cure Hazel of her lonely, deprived existence, her mother (Kyra Sedgwick) decides to take Hazel to a remote treatment facility in the desert.

But on a lonely stretch of road, their van is brutally hijacked by a pair of vicious kidnappers... and Hazel only survives because she has been locked in a hidden compartment, her 'safe-house'.
