In the sixth season, obsessive compulsive detective Adrian Monk returns for more cases. He's forced to help his biggest fan (Sarah Silverman), who's accused of a bizarre crime and finds himself in a dangerous situation when he helps his psychiatrist's son follow a treasure map. Monk's friendship with Captain Stottlemeyer is also put to the test when Monk suspects the captain's girlfriend (Sharon Lawrence) of murder; and his world is turned upside-down when he learns a famous daredevil's secret identity.
