After winning a Bronze medal 12 years ago, Hope Ann Greggory (Melissa Rauch), a once-promising gymnast, is now a washed-up has-been clinging to the glory days of her past while still living with her doting father (Gary Cole) in her small Ohio town. When she is asked to coach the town's newest gymnastics prodigy, (Haley Lu Richardson), in exchange for a huge inheritance, her hometown hero status is suddenly threatened and she must decide what to do. Should she train the rising star and take the money? Or should she sabotage her and remain the only famous one in town?
