Vincent (Emile Hirsch) is a brooding, damaged loner from small town USA; and Roxxy (Zoe Kravitz) is a rebellious inner city girl who has seen it all. One day, these two outsiders meet when a brutal killer attacks Roxxy and Vincent steps in to try and save her. Now after their bloody confrontation, the two near strangers flee and are on run across the dusty Badlands of America in Vincent's black muscle car. As their desire for each other grows, they soon learn violence will follow them everywhere, even as they unexpectedly fall in love. But a horrific final showdown is waiting for them on the horizon.
