The evaluation criteria presented in this volume relate to Executive Information Systems (EIS) software packages. The criteria can be used to collect, present and analyze data. This volume addresses the technology issues of EIS implementation while seeking to avoid technical discussions at a very detailed level. By explaining the need for any specific feature of EIS that the developer may seek to include, the document seeks to reveal the "why" without proposing constraints on the "how" it is achieved.
