Florence Bright is told by her mum that "Awards aren't given to people like us, we are bog-standard average, middle of the road". So Florence sets out to change the system so that no one will ever be hard done by again. For all the kids who thought they might get a prize and didn't, glory would be theirs at last. All Florence had to do is arrange a small accident. First person recount. Suggested level: junior, intermediate.
