Georges Prosper Remi, better known by the pen name Hergé, was a Belgian comics writer and artist.

His best known and most substantial work is The Adventures of Tintin comic book series, which he wrote and illustrated from 1929 until his death in 1983, leaving the twenty-fourth Tintin adventure Tintin and Alph-Art unfinished.

His work remains a strong influence on comics, particularly in Europe. He was inducted into the Comic Book Hall of Fame in 2003.

I absolutely love my boxed set, takes me back to my childhood. True to the original size and format which is excellent and contains two previously unknown Tintin books.

They are the proper normal size that I grew up reading from the local library. It includes Tintin in the Land of the Soviets, which I had never seen before which is in B&W and a sort of art book. All in all a great set.

It doesn't include Tintin in the Congo which is probably no bad thing - and I say that as somebody who owns a copy of Tintin in the Congo.
