Living in an isolated village, a 20-something-year-old, Melisa Grajca, finds out she has magic. On top of that, there are the expectations of her family, who sold her at a young age to an old couple as a laborer. When the old couple finds out about the magic, they become worried about the village elders and what they will do. They hurriedly give Melisa everything she needs to leave as she has always wanted, even telling her where to go.

As she approaches her old family home, will she instead choose to stay or follow the advice of the old couple and her dreams?
