Delivery Information

Delivery Timeframes

The time taken for a title to reach to you once it has been despatched depends on where it has been sent from.   Please check both the despatched and received in time given above an item's "buy" button to determine the delivery time to you.  This time is determined as follows:

  • Instant download:
    This is an ebook and will be added to your 'My Library' ready to download to your preferred eReading device.  If it is a free book it will be added when you click 'Download'.  If it is one you have purchased it will be added when you have completed the transaction. You must be logged in to your account to see your eLibrary.

     

  • Received in 2-3 working days:
    The title is despatched from our Melbourne fulfilment centre and sent with Australia Post.  You should expect to receive it within 2-3 working days (from the working day following receipt of the despatch email) for most metropolitan areas in Australia. Perth, Darwin and large cities and towns in QLD, NSW, SA & TAS can take 3-5 working days; other locations can take 4-6 days; remote areas can take longer.  You may receive your order earlier than the time stated above but please note, sometimes there can also be unforeseen postal delays which are outside of our control.  We ask that you please allow up to 14 working days for delivery before contacting us to request a refund or replacement order.

     

  • Received in 10-15 working days:
    The title is despatched from an overseas supplier who will send the title directly to you.  You should expect to receive it within 10-15 working days (from the working day following receipt of the despatch email).  This delivery time applies to metropolitan areas of Australia (Perth may take slightly longer).  Rural delivery may take longer.  You may receive your order earlier than the time stated above but please note, sometimes there can also be unforeseen postal delays which are outside of our control.  We ask that you please allow up to 45 days for delivery before contacting us to request a refund or replacement order.

     

  • Received 'x' working days after despatch:
    Some titles will appear with a preorder button in place of the regular 'buy' button.  A title with this button is not yet in stock but is available for pre-order (i.e. to be ordered in advance of the publication or release date) and will be received on or shortly after the release date, subject to the above delivery time frames for the title.

     

  • Released on 'x' date or Generally ships in 3-5 weeks
    A with this message is temporarily out of stock but is available for purchase and will be received on or shortly after its new availability date, subject to the above delivery time frames.  Where possible we will provide an expected date when this title will be back in stock with our suppliers.  If no expected date is listed, it will generally ship in 3-5 weeks.

Other Delivery Information

 

Payment is taken in full when your order is placed.  Please ensure the delivery address and receiver's name for your order is accurate and complete (including any business name if shipping to a work address) as we are unable to change any details once the order has been placed.

Our databases are regularly updated based on current availability information supplied by publishers and book distributors. Books can and do sometimes become temporarily unavailable whilst reprinting, or they may go out of print without prior notice from the publisher.

Angus & Robertson Online will endeavour to supply all orders placed via this site.  All books and other products are listed for sale in good faith, but it is possible a supplier may notify us that a title is currently unavailable or no longer available.  Upon receipt of this information from a supplier our online customer service team will contact you to let you know of the cancellation or delay of your order.
