This text provides a compact introduction to fuzzy logic from an applied electronics perspective. It presents fuzzy electronics as a generalization of digital electronics with the aim of making it easily accessible to practising engineers and students alike. Some ideas are introduced in mathematics to smooth the transition from digital electronics to fuzzy electronics, while some ideas are reviewed from neural networks to enable readers to pursue further advances in applied fuzzy logic. Exercises are designed both to reinforce concepts and practice numerical calculation, and the text encourages research and the use of the Internet's vast resources.
