"Bone: A Treatise" is a series of seven volumes devoted to providing the most up-to-date, comprehensive, and authoritative coverage of all aspects of bone. 74 chapters have been written by 127 respected authors, all of whom are actively engaged in basic, applied, and clinical bone research. The seven volumes within this series are organized thematically. Each volume integrates structure, function, biochemistry, metabolism and the molecular and clinical aspects of a particular aspect of the biology of the bone. "Volume VI, Bone Growth B" includes chapters discussing topics such as the repair of fractured bones, bone grafts, bone regeneration, and the use of bone-promoting substances to augment repair and/or regeneration. It is aimed at osteopaths and orthopaedic surgeons.
