Self-taught since high school in both art and music, Jon was first known for his loud drums and personality sketches. Since giving up the drums his hearing and art have improved to the point of being represented by the prestigious Tamara Bane Gallery. Jon cites his main influences as Dali, Frazetta, Vargas, Escher and Picasso in any order. Through them he honed his use of colour, format, style, technique, subject matter, impact and consistency.
