The Milwaukee Art Museum&amp;#8217;s collection of American folk art reflects the art worlds&amp;#8217; increasing interest in the genre. A major part of the collection comes from Michael and Julie Hall&amp;#8217;s extensive collection, acquired by the museum in the early 1990s.
