The source of TradeCAN data is the COMTRADE database, the official database maintained by the United Nations Statistical Office. CAN -- the Competitiveness Analysis of Nations -- using data at the 2, 3 and 4-digit SITC level for 192 countries or territories, allows the user to track market share and structure with regard to the key regional markets and country groupings, including Western Europe, North America, Japan, all industrialized countries, Africa, developing America, developing Asia, and all developing countries.
