Just finished reading the first of the series. It has kept me intrigued and spell bound. I try to read two or three chapters per evening but some nights I have trouble putting it down. I just have to know what happens next? A well composed story with strange twists and turns. Love it so far and looking forward to the next installment.

I had heard the description 'Titanic in space' - which was enough to get me on board. What I didn't expect was the heart-ripping, hollow feeling I was left with when I finished. Now, that is not meant to put you off! It was so much more than I expected - better. There were so many twists and turns throughout the book - some I still think of to this day. Highly recommend.

I went into this book with little knowledge about what it was about. I knew very little just the main character names and that it's setting was space. I was not expecting to find any part of this book relateable, I mean, it's a sci-fi novel, there can't be anything to relate to, right? Wrong. I was so very, very wrong. The details used for the more mechanical aspects of the story were spot on but for certain areas these authors refrained from explaining, which I found kept me glued to the book well through the night and into the morning.

The main characters were witty and original, in the sense that, they were not a cookie cutter pair of characters. They had such depth and humor and wit and emotion that I did not expect. I did not expect to see such attention to the emotional details, in a sci-fi novel.

This book made me laugh, it made me cry, it made excited and angry and annoyed and fascinated at different time and sometimes all at once. It was a great read and one I plan on re-reading very soon.
