Held at the Rubell Family Collection in Miami, Florida, 28 Chinese was the culmination of six research trips that the Rubell family made to China between 2001 and 2012, over the course of which they visited more than 100 studios. This publication gathers pieces by 28 artists working across several generations and in a myriad of themes, offering a broad survey of the Chinese art world today.
