Miranda Smith is an experienced editor who has written many books for both children and adults on subjects ranging from sharks and the human body to ancient Egypt and courgettes. Having raised three children in east London, she still lives in the family home with her husband and two cats.

Jenny Wren is a freelance Illustrator who lives and works in Lichfield, Staffordshire. She mainly undertakes children's book projects, and has worked for Igloo, Parragon and Caterpillar Books, but from time to time also illustrates greeting cards and stationary.

She has illustrated First Explorers titles for Campbell, including Snowy Animals, Wild Animals and In the Jungle.

Xuan Le is an illustrator based in Saigon, Vietnam. After graduating with a major in fashion design from IUH, she received a second degree in graphic design at the University of Fine Arts in Ho Chi Minh City.

Xuan became a full-time illustrator in 2015 with local and international clients. She likes to combine strong colours with eccentric details, mixing past, future and surreal worlds together.
