Jess Black is an Australian author of children's books. She has written over thirty junior fiction books and two picture books, Moon Dance and The Bold Australian Girl (July 2017 release).

Jess is the author of the Keeper of the Crystals series and the co-author of the hugely successful Bindi Wildlife Adventure series, RSPCA Animal Tales series and The Kaboom Kid series with David Warner.

Classically trained in graphic design and illustration, Julia Murray began her career illustrating at Huffer before spending ten years in London working as an art director for publishers such as Harper Collins and Hardie Grant.

This experience has given her a versatility of style, a strength in combining typography with illustration, and a designer’s eye for composition and detail. Julia’s work reflects a love of color with a touch of femininity.
