Santosh Shah is an experienced chef who has worked in some of London's best restaurants including Cinnamon Kitchen and Michelin-starred Benares. From growing up in Nepal to winning the nation's hearts as a finalist in 2020's MasterChef- The Professionals, Santosh is putting Nepali cuisine on the map. Santosh Shah wowed the judges and critics with his classic Nepalese dishes on Masterchef UK The Professionals in 2020 and won viewers' hearts with his humility, humour and the story of his challenging beginnings. This great book contains all his best known dishes including potato with nettles, hemp seed chutney (delicious) and festival pancakes with saffron milk along with a multitude of deeply flavoursome curries. This book is a great introduction to Nepalese cuisine and to the country itself - where he is by all accounts now a national hero for bringing Nepalese cuisine to the world. Highly recommended.
