Brooks is an exceptional house. There has been a wide variety of life both within his walls and on the grounds upon which he is proudly attached. His foundation is intimate with greenery and many roots offer an intricate exchange system with trees, shrubs, and plant life. The water system bubbles with gossip hurriedly entering his lumber frame. He's been devoid of human life too long and now will play host to a glorious salad-like mixture of humanity.Brooks is a bit mischievous and the big old maple tree overlooking the grounds is often downright rude.The new owner of this house is Dora Dawson and she is dealing with the recent loss of her husband, grown children who think she should slow down and enjoy her golden years, and a nutty long-term gal pal who is hungry for adventure. Dora's mom is carefree, enjoying the winter of her life, and she likes gaudy clothes. She even has a 'boyfriend' everyone refers to as "Old Abe" who is every bit as eccentric as she. To make things even more challenging for Dora, someone is trying to defraud her. How much power can a special house wield?
