He has been a Head of Science for 10 years with extensive experience in the development of Physics work programs and assessment processes. He has also been involved with Physics assessment as a QCAA District Panel Member and Chair for Physics.<br><br>Gary Turner has been teaching for 16 years in regional schools. Gary was a member of the State Panel for the 1995 Physics syllabus, and a QCAA District Panel Chair (2009-19) for the 2007 Syllabus. After a Ph.D. in the 1980s in Auckland, and some Physics research (Wellington), Gary spent 15 years operating a weekly newspaper before retraining to talk science to teenagers, with positions as Head of Senior Studies at a small P-12 school and the past 9 years as Head of Science at a large P-12 school.The Interactive Textbook is available as a two-calendar-year subscription.
