How do we cope with the many challenges that life puts in our path? (And it happens to each of us.)

In Coping, media personality, politician, actor, journalist, editor and published author Derryn Hinch shares how he has coped with the many curve balls which have been thrown his way over the course of his colourful life and illustrious career. In Coping, Hinch gets very personal and provides advice on many topics such as:

How to cope with trauma in your life, both emotional and financial - he writes as a person who has had massive highs and lows. This book offers positive advice on how to cope during these tumultuous times.
How to cope during the bad times. We can all handle the good times, but what about when things are less rosy?
How to cope when you, or a loved one, is diagnosed with a terminal illness. Hinch has been there and done that.

From having been convicted of contempt of court three times, having served two prison sentences and one sentence of house detention, and having been married four times, Hinch provides a candid insight into how he has coped, and bounced back, time and time again.

Derryn Hinch is/was a journalist, broadcaster, author and ex-crim.

The former newspaper editor hosted the current affairs program HINCH on the 7 and 10 networks, Midday on 9 and had award-winning stints on 3AW. Hinch has been jailed twice, fined, and spent five months under house arrest for his campaigns against suppression orders for sex offenders.

In 2011, he received a liver transplant after being diagnosed with terminal cancer and given twelve months to live.

He ‘jumped the shark’ in 2016 to launch Derryn Hinch’s Justice Party and was elected as a federal senator for Victoria. He hosted HINCH Live on SKY News until his political career took off. He now writes for Crikey and appears on Sunrise, PMLive and 3AW.

He lives (well) in Melbourne.
