How to undertake successful counter-strike operations, with combat examples from battles on the Eastern Front in World War II.
This volume in the Die Wehrmacht im Kampf series aims to derive basic principles of counter-strike operations and \"mobile defence\" from the heavy defensive battles on the Eastern Front during World War II. The author himself took part in all of the combat operations described as a young officer leading armoured troops.
