This tale of residents of an old street in a coastal town is the second novel from David Porter, one time drama teacher, exam assessor and MP. It sees the fall of old-fashioned, ageing assassin Jerry Fletcher and the dawn of a new era under his recently found 17-year daughter, Spice.
