New York Times bestselling author and pastor Mark Batterson has discovered a powerful, life-changing way to respond to God's generosity. When he receives a blessing, he gives a similar blessing away. It could be as simple as a compliment, as thoughtful as a gift, or as encouraging as an impromptu act of kindness. Whatever the method, he returns the favor by doing something unexpected for someone else. Don't be mistaken, though. While "paying it forward" is a great way to live, Double Blessing promises far more than inspiration for random acts of kindness. Mark points out that God can utilize your faithfulness in a manner disproportionate to your means. It's not magic. It's not a formula. But it is a marker of blessing we see repeated throughout Scripture. It's how five loaves and two fish fed five thousand people. In Double Blessing, Batterson invites you to experience the immeasurable joy of flipping the blessings in your life! When you turn your blessing from God into a blessing for others, it becomes a double blessing, a triple blessing, a blessing down through the generations. Ripple effects that you can't quite fully grasp and contentment like you've never experienced before. We are blessed to bless. Isn't it time to find that kind of true joy? It's time to flip the blessing. Book jacket.
