I know this book of by heart. As a Nanny for seven years it was a great favourite with all the children. One of my children who is now 15 sent me a message to say she was thinking of me and this story when she sat down to a cup of tea and a crumpet. I looked after her from 5 months old until she went to school at 5. I love all of Jill Murphy's books about the "Large Family" and have often bought them for young children so they too can experience the fun
