Intersections represents a newly emergent approach to architectural history that addresses both the relevance of critical theories to an historical understanding of architecture and the development of those theories within the context of architecture. A younger and international group of thinkers in architecture have begun to make connections with critical and cultural theory similar to those undertaken in other fields. They make architecture and its spaces of central concern in an interdisciplinary context and by doing so provide the first single text which brings together the various different concerns and approaches of the new theory-driven architectural history.
