'The 1970s - The Glory Years Begin', the book presents a unique pictoral record of the rise of Ipswich Town Football Club. It is compiled by Terry Hunt, Editor of the "East Anglian Daily Times" newspaper. It captures the transformation of Ipswich Town from perennial Division One strugglers to one of the most successful teams in the country, all inspired by the brilliant management skills of Bobby Robson. The book tells the story of the 1970s from the early days of struggle when fans were calling for Robson's head, and the boss had a fight with two senior players, to the later glory years, including the FA Cup triumph. Included are hundreds of action pictures from the 1970s which have never before been published: photographs which will evoke memories of heroes and triumphs from the past.
