It introduces a historical summary of the work done in the times of Lebesgue. It has quite comprehensively dealt with the work of contemporary mathematicians. It bridges the knowledge difference at the undergraduate level and research level curriculum. Being an English speaker, I can understand how Lebesgue actually approached the problem of integration. Truly an excellent exposition
