Making a Scene is set in beautiful Sussex countryside, including Ashdown Forest. It combines the stunning black and white visuals of Steve Ward's photography with poetic stories and insights from Charley Elbow. Drama is subtly teased from each image leading to surprising plots and twists at a time when our relationship with nature has never seemed more important. Charley has written a poetry book for children called Small Feats and Tall Tales, collaborated with artist John Pelham on Together We'll See and written a book of haiku called ReBalancing.
