Edie Larson has hit rock bottom. Her lucrative gig as a private investigator to some big-name celebrities ended badly, resulting in her losing her apartment, and barely having enough money to live off. So she moves home to Rocky Ridge, refusing to tell anyone that she is living out of her van at the campground.



Matt Whittaker has always wondered about his mother who left when he was five years old. Shortly after turning thirty, he became aware of a large amount of money that she had saved for him over the past twenty-five years. This re-ignites his desire to find her, and a friend puts him in touch with Edie.



As Edie and Matt work at trying to find his mother, an uneasy friendship is forged that leads each to a deeper faith in God.
