Amy Sparkes

Amy writes for children of all ages. Her picture books have been shortlisted for several book awards, including the Roald Dahl Funny Prize 2013 and the Booktrust Best Books Awards 2014.

Amy lives in Devon with her husband and five young children. When she's not off on an adventure with them, Amy enjoys drinking tea, climbing trees and dancing. She is yet to master doing all three at the same time.

Fiona Lumbers

Fiona Lumbers has drawn on anything and everything from an early age and always insisted she would be an artist when she grew up. She moved to London in 2000 to study for an MA in Painting at the Royal College of Art.

A combination of her obsession with picture books and the arrival of her first son led her down the path of illustration and she hasn't looked back since.
