Pippa Goodhart

Pippa Goodhart's interest in children's books was originally sparked by a Saturday job at Heffers in Cambridge when she was at school. Since then, Pippa qualified as a teacher and returned to Heffers, where she eventually became Manager of the Children's Bookshop. She has been writing since 1993 and has written over 100 books! Her books have won or been shortlisted for numerous awards.

Julie Sykes

As a child, Julie Sykes was always telling tales. Not the 'she ate all the cake' sort, but wild and exaggerated tales of everyday events.

Julie still loves stories and has written over 70 books published worldwide. Julie lives in Hampshire in an old cottage with her family and a white wolf cunningly disguised as a dog.

When she's not writing she likes eating cake, reading and walking, often at the same time.

David Clayton

David Clayton is a dyed-in-the-wool Manchester City fan. The club's senior journalist and match-day programme editor, he previously edited the official MCFC magazine ManC. His writing credits include several authorised autobiographies including footballers Uwe Rosler, Andy Morrison, Ian Holloway and Jon Parkin and actor Richard Beckinsale.
