Rosemary Weston lives in a safe, cozy North Carolina village in 1790. Every day brings chickens to feed, herbs to gather, and lots of time to explore the nearby forest. Change is about to arrive, though, as surely as the arrival of the village's newest citizens: a cooper and his young, pregnant wife.
