A new Arthurian fantasy, perfect for all readers of The Mists of Avalon. Compares honorably with Sutcliff's books in its lyrical evocation of Arthu r's Britain and is also akin to Napoli's The Magic Circle in its contemporary reworking of legendary figures--particularly women.--Kirkus, pointered review.
