Like Dragonslayer and Knight of the Silver Circle, Servant of the Crown is an exciting addition to the heroic fantasy tradition of Patrick Rothfuss, Brandon Sanderson, and Robert Jordan. Mixing swordplay and magic with compelling characters who are searching for meaning in their lives, the Dragonslayer trilogy comes to a thrilling conclusion. Swordsman and noble, Guillot dal Villerauvais, has turned his life around since a dragon destroyed his village, but that may not enable him to defeat the Prince Bishop, who has found the great magical power he craved for so long. Gill's surprising ally, the dragon Pharadon, on a quest of his own, discovers that dragons are not the only magical creatures in the land. Solène has come to fear her own magic but will not turn away when her friends are in danger.Since self-publishing his first ebook, The Tattered Banner (one of BuzzFeed's 12 Greatest Fantasy Books of the Year, 2013), Duncan M. Hamilton has sold more than 220,000 copies of his fast-paced, character-focused, fantasy adventure novels. The Dragonslayer trilogy is his first traditionally-published series.
