Gray American werewolf Elaine Hawthorn has lost her job in cutbacks and has a chance to cash in on a Highland family treasure. When she arrives in Scotland, she nearly has a head-on collision with one hot, kilt-garbed Highlander, and runs him off the road. Then she ends up at a wedding, gets kicked out of the church, and finds herself on the run with the Highlander. But he's the wolf who is the enemy of her cousin's clan, and things get even more complicated than that as their mutual attraction begins to heat up.

I love reading Terry Spear's books and this one was no exception. I loved seeing Elaine Hawthorn and Cearnach MacNeill relationship develop, however I did think that they decided to be mates rather quickly.

Elaine is a strong character and it was good seeing her stand up to everyone in the MacNeill keep.

At time who was related to who and the different family ties did get a but confusing but that just could be me.

Over all I would recommend this book, it's a nice fun and easy read.
