Karen Stone and her brother John are getting ready for a fun summer at their home in cottage country. Late one night they decide to go out to a quiet island in the middle of the lake. Exploring an ancient graveyard, they come across a man sitting on a gravestone. When he vanishes mysteriously, Karen picks up a small pouch he had with him. At times amusing and fascinating, and at times downright terrifying, Karen is forced to confront something she has been running from for too long...
