Rolly Robot works in a toy factory in a space station at the other end of the galaxy. When he discovers the secret behind the factory he starts to learn to think for himself and discover the secret of the Starbabies. With the help of some new friends, Rolly escapes the Big Boss of the toy factory on a space ship with the Starbabies. After a terrible solar storm sends them all millions of miles off course, Rolly Robot must find a way to save them all.
