The story set up was interesting as was the central conflict. The characters remained names on the page but were distinguishable one from the other. In other words, I did not care about the characters, but I was interested in where the story took them. Sometimes the plot got lost as dialogue and description bogged down in unnecessary detail about this fantasy world. The chase sequences had good tension that for a while made it a page-turner for a while. Overall, a light read that entertains.
