I found author Sandy Mitchell s book, Ciaphas Cain: Defender of the Imperium, containing the last three books of the Ciaphas Cain series, was full of heroes and villains, bravery, humour and Cain's attempts to save his own skin and get out of the battle only to find himself in the middle of it all, most enjoyable and amusing. The character of Cain is someone we can all relate to, a man out for himself that somehow ends up looking like a hero to the people, because the actions he takes save not only him but the numerous people of the galaxy. The Starlog called it a Flashman for the 41st Millennium and I could not agree more this book is a good read in my opinion and I hope you read it and then share my views on it.
