BIANCA JONES NEVER ASKED FOR HER JOB.

There's a saying in the Baltimore PD - "Do a job once and it's yours." After finding and fighting a creature that could not, should not exist, after saving Baltimore from one monster, Bianca gets the job of hunting down all the dark things that view the citizens of Baltimore as either playthings or cattle. Her allies in this crusade include a gnomish bookseller who is more than he seems and a crime scene investigator who wants to be more than just friends. With their help, Bianca fights monsters both human and supernatural. But nothing comes without a price, and the cost of protecting the people of Baltimore could be Bianca's life and maybe her soul.
